my cheap bill !

i live in a 3 bedroom house with my two daughters aged 11 and 5. i had a water meter fitted as a necessity. i told my daughters of the importance of saving water ie;no running taps when brushing teeth etc. i decided it was a waste to just drain away bath water so the sunday bath water was kept and used to flush the toilet which lasted 2 maybe 3 days till the wednesday bath when the water was kept again and used for flushing the toilet.
people may think this was too much of a chore!
i also have a washer with a quick wash 29minutes.
my water bill from last year was....water supply bill.....£51.59
and water sewage........£25.56 !!
this first halves year bill has arrived for my water supply and it is ...£31.68
my water sewage bill has not arrived yet but i expect it will be half of the water supply bill as last year.
if you put in a little effort you can reap the rewards.
