Hi everyone,
I wondered if anyone can help me. I need dark brown suits and was wondering if any of you lovely people knew of anywhere I could hire them from.

I've only found one place locally and they are very expensive. I'm in Nottinghamshire.
Thanks in advance!

My H2B was set on a brown suit and we found them in all the big chain hire places - Young's, Moss Bross, 1860 - but you are a bit limited as they don't have all the styles in brown - think it was prince edwards that they all had in brown rather than tailcoats. Do you have some of them near you? They are all on the internet if you wanted to find out your nearest.
As it turned out with us, the brown didn't look as good as imagined and grey suited them all a lot more - plus we preferred the tailcoat style, so we've gone for charcoal grey suits.0 -
I agree that there are not many of the styles available in the brown and the brown are more expensive than the other colours in some of the shops I've been to! I ned brown because my theme is chocolate, Gold and Ivory and another colour of suit will just not look right I don't think.
Thanks for your help - I had seen 1860 & Moss Bros - there isn't one very close but I an there and I have just this morning asked each of them to post me a brochure. I need 12 suits so it's a pain in the !!!!. Hopefully someone will take pity on me ordering so many and offer me a HUGE discount! We can dream can't we!!!

Brown suits look totally gorgeous - I want my H2B and co. to wear brown for our wedding! Had no idea they were so hard to get hold of- will keep you posted if I find any info.
Lish x:j :jTotally and utterly debt free as of 27/05/09!!!:j :j0 -
My hubby wore brown and he looked gorgeous. We had chocolate, gold and cream and it went perfectly

We got our suits from 1860 and were very pleased with them.0 -
We were going to have ivry, gold and brown as well! I had even bought some gold bridesmaid dresses which I returned - H2B looked better in the grey suit, so now were having ivory, grey and blue which kind of suits the wintery time of year. For customer service, we found 1860 the best out of the big places but ended up going with a local place that are even making the cravats to match the bridesmaid dresses.0

Well I've just got back from town and have a handful of different brochures including the 1860 one. They have the gorgeous brown suits but they don't have brown shoes to hire!!!
The shop that I get my wedding dress from does the brown suits from Etiquette Hire but the packages are quite expensive and I need 12 (don't ask!!!), however 2 other places in town provide the same brand of hire wear so I am going to get quotes from each and go with the cheapest!
Some pleaces offer discounts such as the groom goes free, buy 5 get one free (so I would get 2 free) and on top of that if you pay in full you get an extra 10 or 20% off!
Decisions decisions!!!

Just got back from a meeting about suit hire with a lovely bloke in our local department store. He was very helpful and because we are having 12 he said he would give us 3 for free. On top of that he also stated that if we pay in full on booking then we'll get an extra 10% off the price. This place also had the insurance included in the price whereas a lot of other places charge you an extra fee as damage deposit. They also gove you a week after the wedding to get the suits back unlike lots of others that I went to which wanted them back first thing Monday morning after our saturday wedding!
Am feeling very pleased with myself - now where to find the money............. hmmmmmmmmm!

Did you go for the brown suits? If you did I got the shoes to match from George at Asda. They also had nice cheap and cheerful shoes at the shoemarket type shop in town.0
