Easiest way would be a USB memory stick...

If it's the same PC, you may as well fix yours

If the PC is problematic and difficult to use due to speed then the simplest solution would be to take the hard drive out and put it in the replacement PC as a 2nd hard drive and transfer all your documents etc over to the new PC.

If the camera is a standard usb removable disk type drive when connected to the PC it shouldn't need any additional drivers and if that doesnt work then it is likley that a usb memory stick won't work either.

    thanks.

it would be easier and cost nothing if i transfer instead of paying to get fixed,it has lots of problems, slow, cant install things i.e camera bluetooth.

    hiya

no i cant install camera on to it,it always asks for the disk which i put in ,but then at the end it always says the same thing.iposted a couple of months agao with the problem, when i have looked into it,it seems it is a driver problem??

hving the same problem now with a belkin bluetooth which my partner uses for work to transfer data from his pat tester,it all loads up then at last bit it says it might not work properly ?

so thinking just swap pc tower and start again.

how would i move hard drive out or is that something that should be done by a proff

What OS have you got running on each system? I would suggest the Belkin Easy Transfer cable, but that's designed for XP to Vista transfer. If both are XP, you could install Windows Easy Transfer onto both PC's, not sure then if the Belkin would do the job-maybe someone else can advise on this.
All depends how much data you've got-if not much, use CD or USB stick as per earlier post. The advantage of Easy Transfer is that it copies your User Accounts and user settings too.

You probably have a corrupt driver, post the contents of c:\windows\inf\usbstor.inf

    put c:\windows\inf\ in run
Find the file usbstor.inf, right click on it, and open in note pad. Copy n paste...

IMO, you'd still be better off backing up to USB, and then use the other PC, or format and reinstall windows on your own....
