Same for me - I'd only just bought the paper & the assistant found scissors and a pen for me even though I wasn't buying anything else & was very pleasant about the whole thing. BB on box very short ( end Feb) so maybe they have a fair bit of this stock to get rid of.tessie_bear wrote: »i got one today and the staff couldnt have been nicer0 -

Solihull staff were very friendly. Lent me a pen and showed me where I had to tick the box!!!!!!
"Oh no", says I, "that's only if you want to be pestered by future junk mail"! "Oh so it is", she said!
Wonder how many others fell for that?0 -
Bought my paper, then Billingham branch was closed!
I'll try my luck (and explain) in Newcastle branch Monday I think.0 -
That wasn't Milton Keynes, Kingston by any chance (sounds very much like it anyway) - if so I was in there getting my chocs about 20 minutes before you!The ladies in our local Thorntons were only too pleased to give us the chocs. We got the impression we were the first people they'd seen with a voucher (at about 12.00).
We were lucky that I'd spotted the offer on the Telegraph when they were doing the review of the papers on Breakfast telly this morning. We normally have the Telegraph on a Saturday, but I don't think we'd have been paying so much attention to finding the coupon and it's redemption details, before we left Tesco. We are lucky there's a small Thornton's inside a Clinton card shop about 3 doors down from Tesco. I don't know we'd have bothered going back out again if we'd gone home first.
Had to buy some pens to fill out the coupon though so my free chocs cost 95p, but came with 6 BIC biros! :rotfl:0 -
I managed to get one in Liverpool at 4pm.

15 gorgeous choccies.
There was also a voucher in the Telegraph today on page 30 for a free Eve Lom lipbalm with ANY purchase at Space NK. HTH someone; I am certainly going to be using mine.

Got a box in Lytham St Annes yesterday afternoon. Even had a choice of three types. Staff were very friendly.
Also going to get the Eve Lom lipbalm when I'm near one of the Space.nk branches later in the week.0 -

Yes it was, well worked out :-)
I only spotted that Thornton's was there at Christmas when I had to park way out by the back of Kingston Gym cos the carpark was so rammed. Glad now I had that long walk!
