Posting HEAVY items

I know that this has been covered before but i have two items that are very heavy (30kg+) and i don't know where to start with postage costs or even how i am going to send them.
Couriers have been spoken about here before and i was wondering someone could direct me to their websites?
Ideally, they would pick up out of hours or on Weekend but i don't think i am in the position to be too fussy!
Thanks!

I use staples and I think they cover upto 32kg but not 100% sure. Their website doesn't give any details (that I've found) about this service so maybe try to give them a ring.
The only problem is you need to take the items there, they don't collect. It's £8 per item for 48 hour delivery and they use DHL.
I've never used any other courier so can't recommend anyone else sorry. There'll be someone along soon though!:smileyhea0 -

Ive just used Parcels4Delivery last week - which is on that list - excellent - parcelforce picked up the item and arrived the next day as described. A lot cheaper than Parcelforce too.l..0 -

If you are selling on ebay...just remeber your buyer might live in Shetland!! Not all delivery companies deliver all over the UK at a standard price!
As a buyer there is nothing worse than reading one price and then finding out the real cost is twice or more recently 3 times the quoted amount!
mah
ps I dont live in Shetland!!!0
