MBNA balance transfer

Have already posted this on another ongoing thread, thought I may do better starting my own!

Can you do a balance transfer from an overdraft on MBNA then (I assume this is the cash deposit?) and does this qualify for a low rate then? I have a 4.9% for 9 months deal running out next month and was hoping to transfer onto an egg card which has a slightly lower limit and use the cash deposit method to pay off the egg card so I can maximise the amount I can transfer on the special rate. Does anyone know what sort of transfer rates they're offering at the moment? And would the bank deposit be an eligible method? Thanks!:beer:

I don't understand what you are asking, but today I phoned up mbna and got them to pay £2500 into my bank at 0%, but it runs on on 11th March. Then I intend to use that to pay my RBS card, off, and then transfer the balance back from the mbna card to the RBS at 0% which has a deal until September at 0%.... ?

Sorry if my post wasn't very clear but you've at leats confirmed that it can be done, which helps a lot! Does anyone know if these balance transfers to a bank account are available on all MBNA cards or just certain ranges? Mines an A&L card.
