My debt free journey starts today!

Hi there,

I am an absolute fan of this site and have had great advise from so many members over the past months.
To keep better track of things, I have decided to keep a diary.
Partly also to receive a pat on the shoulder every now and again, as my partner doesnt get as much excited about my achievements as I do.

Ok, so what is the situation:
I have a mortgage and I have about £5k on my credit card.
I want to pay off the £5k as soon as I can, but certainly by the end of Dec 09.

I have done SOA and know that I can't reduce my outgoings any further.

But, I have a tenant since the beginning of the month - which will certainly help reduce my cc much quicker! :T And I am very very relieved, as I was very close to the brink only a few weeks ago.

Am really glad you have the tenant so you can get the debt paid off. Have you thought about doing a pay a day challenge or a £10 challenge on here as well.

And have you snowballed the debt?
