Student (with no income) - Can I claim back tax paid on bank acct interest?

Hi,
Should be a relatively simple question, and I think I already know the answer, but just to be sure: in the tax years 2005-6 and 2006-7, I didn't receive any income other than interest from my bank accounts, which was paid net. Am I right in thinking that as long as the amount of this interest was below my personal allowance (which unsurprisingly it was!), that I can claim back the entirety of the tax paid on this interest (the total interest * 0.25)?
