Which is best credit card for debt free?

Yes I know it sounds unusual but I have never owned a credit card so therefore have no balance transfers, debit on cards etc.
I purely want a credit card for the protections aspect of booking the annual holiday or larger internet purchases.
I would like a british call centre to handle any queries but I understand most are dealt with abroad now? Can anyone help?

If you use the card as you say you will almost any one will do.
In my opinion Nationwide Building Society would suit you 100%.

As you haven't already got a CC, then you will probably have difficulty in getting one as you will have no credit record of handling CC well.
So best to get anything to build a credit history.. Try your bank first as they will know you handle your a/c well.
Set up a DD to pay in full each month. use the CC regularly for things you anyway buy.
