Interum Justica...Chasing money

Hi,
A long time a go I had my paypal account hacked into an lost some money.
About a week later I had an email from ebay to pay my sellers fees.
I paid them but a couple of weeks later I had an email to say the payment never went through and that I should pay again.
With the recent fraud on my paypal account I assumed this was another scam.
Anyway the payment didnt actually go through and the debt was passed on to Interum Justica to recover the money plus there charges.
I contacted ebay to explain the situation and they said to pay ebay direct what I owe them and I shall here no more about the matter.
I paid ebay but now Interum Justica are still chasing me for the fees that ebay told me would be wiped. I have informed the collections agency of this.
I am just worried now weather they can register a default on me without telling me. Tempted just to pay it as its only £8 but if its already to late whats the point?
Can i find out from experian without paying £13 on there website? ( used my free trial period already )
Thanks in advance
