Hi there.

I was declared bankrupt in june 2005 due to my ex partner. I have since
moved on and need a loan to help with some furniture and bits for a possible new home. Someone recommended a loan with black horse, I have done the loan calculator. It's 21.9% not great but obviously for a loan of £7000 you end up paying back £8,800 so it would get the job done. Does anyone else know of anyone that will loan money to ex bankrupts or poor credit history. My final debt i went bankupt for was only £4000 as i managed to clear most of it in the end.

I don't know if you have one near you but have you considered a credit union? Alternatively, get yourself signed up to Freecycle, see if you can get the things you need for as little as possible.
