Soundtrack for media project (thriller) needed

I'm looking for ideas to help my son who is doing AS media studies and currently making a thriller DVD. He is looking for some tense and dramatic music/sound effects as background for his film, which involves entering an empty house and being surprised and an interrogation.

Any ideas for free resources (preferably downloadable) appreciated.

If your after a specific track though from another movie.... try youtube / google vids.

Download the video - open it up to edit it... extract the sound from the movie I did this before when creating a small film.

Obviously put where u got the tracks from etc.. (copyright)
