Webcam advice

I would like to put a webcam in a shed on an allotment which is 3/4 mile away from my home (and computer). There is not mains electricity at the allotment. Is there anyway this can be done? Thanks

unfortunately not..... not unless you had an extra extra extra long web cam cable!

out the window!!!.

you could buy a cheap lappy with built in web cam - leave that there! (not recomended).... however - you'd only get a few hours recording.
