Advice needed re transferring browser history please

Hi,
I have a new computer and would like to transfer my browser history from IE to it.

Is it a case of copying the relevant folders / data and pasting into the new pc??

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure if you can migrate your browser history easily, but you can export bookmarks ("Favorites" in MS parlance) and cookies by selecting Import/Export from the File menu and following the prompts in the wizard.

You can then import the files via the same wizard on your new PC.
