    cozza cancelled the sky because of the d/d issue and is obviously fortunate enough to be in an area with good freeview - we are not hence why I said that not everyone can get freeview or free tv.

    My original Q was why do Companys charge you for not having D/D it discrimanats ppl for not having it YES I AM B/R AND PROUD THAT I HAVE DONE SOMETHING ABOUT MY DEBTS SO YOU PPL THAT JUDGE ME HAVE NEVER NONE WOT ITS LIKE TO GET MADE REDUNDANT JUST HOPE IT DONT HAPPEN TO YOU THEN YOU WILL SEE WOT CAN HAPPEN

    Direct debits are in place, theres 2 options you either set up direct debits or dont but if you dont set direct up you pay a bit more

    Isn't the cost of the phone call meant to pay the persons wages who take the payment? And to be fair, it's hardly a time consuming job. It's just a companies way of making a few extra quid.
    And..what if the OP has just signed up, theres a 12 month contract before they can cancel anyway, so they'd have to pay it regardless and couldn't just go and cancel.
