Hi Everyone
I wonder if anyone could help.
I sold an item on sunday midday and specifically said that the item had to be paid within 24 hours.
As soon as the item sold I put thru a notification about payment etc
I contacted the seller yesterday to ask them to make immediate payment as it should have been done by monday midday and no reply. I have just seen they have several other neg feedbacks saying non payment.
Do I have to wait 7 days or what other options are available?
Thanks!

You can't tell your customers to pay in 24 hours. Unless you use buy it now with immediate payment you have to abide by ebays 7 days to pay rule. Hassling customers when you have no basis to do so may get up their noses and cause beligerence in them.
I'd hate that as a buyer.0 -
Change your terms and conditions, you are going to have problems just as Fern Merkin suggests. In fact, if this buyer happened to be a newbie I might suspect a vigilante who bid merely to show you that your terms are useless.
Wait 7 days and then open an NPB.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you need immediate payment, then you really need to use 'Buy it now' and tick the 'immediate payment required box', rather than auction.
Many people would wait 7 days on prinicple if they saw your message about paying within 24 hours.
Incidently, did you undertake to post within 24 hours of receiving payment ?0
