Firefox British Spellchecker problem

Anybody know why my british speeling checker doesn't work with Firefox 3.0.4
" Works with: Firefox: 2.0 – 3.1b3pre"

It is extemely useful. Especially for this type of thing..

Dunno. Spell checking is a built-in feature of the operating system on my Apple Mac. Plug-in not required.

Isn't it built in i never installed any addons and i have it.

I've had no trouble with it, now on 3.0.5. It's been there since Firefox 2, and has stayed there across upgrades.

What problem are you getting? Does "doesnt work" mean that it won't install for you, or that it flags up British spellings as incorrect?
