relisting

i sell a lot of identical items but when they are unsold why am i getting charged again for relisting. any ideas

    They charge for relisting, but if it sells, you get your 2nd listing cost refunded.

    yes but i am selling the exactly same stuff all the time and when i relist i am getting charged again

    As stated in the above post ebay charge you for re-listing an item that has failed to sell but when you re-list the item and it sells ebay will refund the money they have charged you for re-listing the item.

    It will be on Ebay somewhere that they do charge for unsold items that are re-listed but if it sells the second time around then they will refund the listing fees

    Are you re-listing from 'unsold items' in My Ebay? Or are you just listing it again?

  • Hi,

    If you have many of the same items (ie 10 identical watches) then I would suggest you post 1 listing but change the number of items available to buy. This way, you only pay 1 listing fee...but have the option of selling many more identical items. This is called a dutch auction. Anyone can bid and choose how many of the items they wish to bid on. More info can be found in ebay help pages if you fancy trying it.
