Travelodge manchester airport

Has anyone ever stayed at Man airport Travelodge?
If so, how close is it to T2 is it within walking distance ?
I don't suppose they will have a shuttle.

Alternatively can anyone please recommend a reasonable decent hotel, I have stayed at Bewleys before which was good.

Thankyou
Trisha

I haven’t stayed there but I do know where it is. It’s a bit to far to walk to T2 (especially with bags) and I would doubt they have a shuttle service. But as its reasonably close I cant imagine a regular taxi would be too expensive.

I'm staying there in 2 weeks time for the first time. I wouldn't fancy walking as it's just the other side of the M56 and looks quite a trek around the western perimiter to the terminals. There may not even be footpaths.

Ive stopped at the Manchester Airport Moat House and it was reasonable. You can get it for £50 a room at certain times of the year depending on offers etc.

It includes parking and a shuttle service day and night to the airport
Am i here to save money or spend money......hmmmmm

There's a PremierTravelinn (or Moon hotel as my nephew and niece call them!) at Wilmslow about 5 miles away, £53- 55 a night. I don't know what they do about parking and there won't be a shuttle bus, but I don't expect a taxi would cost too much from there - maybe less than airport parking? It's a nicer location than the new Travelodge.

    The phone number is 0870 990 6506

The travelodge was £26 for the night and it was £37.40 a week for on-airport (premier) parking with discount code.
