Supposed to be today but still waiting.
I'm sitting surrounded by boxes as we're moving out this weekend.
Spoken to our solicitors and the ball is moving now we think. Our purchasers' solicitor has been ignoring calls all day but ours does not suffer fools gladly and has read them the riot act...so the other solicitor has left a voicemail saying they have deposit etc. so it will happen. I'd just like it to be confirmed before I leave this house.
No purpose of this post really, just a bit fed up and a bit sad to be leaving this house, even though it's not the one for us
I fancy cracking open the wine, but I've still got lots to do - anyone going to have a glass for me?

Not today then. Apart from the fact that my husband hasn't signed the contract, there wasn't enough time, so exchange and complete on Monday it will be. Buyer is still happy so I've nothing to complain about really.
No rest for the wicked, better do some more packing :rolleyes:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

There are two very particular sides to this partnership. When he administrates, no administration happens. If I had to tear up houses, I'd get dirty shoes

You only just reminded me! Wine is packed, but the ice in freezer will only melt so a brandy balloon of Baileys it is. Ho hum
