Does a Zanussi Timeline 1400 washer/dryer have a lid switch?

My second-hand (minus the instruction booklet) washer/dryer has packed up and I cannot afford to replace it!

My dad has checked all the obvious stuff, so he says. However, I have googled this morning and it seems similar to a problem where the lid switch fuse needs replacing. I am pretty certain that my dad won't know about lid switch fuses. Does a Zanussi Timeline 1400 have a lid switch anyway? could it be a lid switch fuse?

We don't use the dryer bit. We use the washing machine on a full load at 30 degrees. We fill up the machine as normal and select the programme. The display comes on at 1 hr 19 minutes as normal and everything lit up as normal. The door locks, but the start button doesn't work and the water does not start to come in.

Filters, water pipes are all okay apparently.

Any ideas, guys, please?
