Recycled Crafting For Gifts

Came across some fab ideas for recycled craft gifts.

These napkin rings use a toilet roll/ kitchen towel tube cut into sections with dried beans and pulses glued on.

I guess you could use anything to decorate the tubes, buttons would look lovely as would sequins and beads.

A glass jar filled with pot pourri and topped with a paper doiley and tied with ribbon makes a quick gift.

And this one I really like, its a glass jar covered in wooden clothes peg halfs to make it look like a wishing well.

    Brilliant ideas :T
I did loads of 'gifts in jars' last christmas.

Also decanted some tesco's own bubble bath into some of OH's empty wine bottles, printed a label of vintage bathtime (or something similar), ribbon round the neck and they looked much better than they were

  • Hi Mary I remember last year I "borrowed" your idea for the wine bottle bubble bath and gave some to my friend - I decanted some lilac creme bath into the bottle added a floral gift wrap wraparound and made a tag using lilac shimmer card, she loved it.

Glad she liked it. It really is amazing what you can do with a bit of imagination plus the idea of 'something for nothing' appeals:j
