DVD burning software

i want to download nero and DVD shrink, but all the websites i have looked at want to charge me.

You can download a 15 day trial version of Nero from their website here. You should try 'DVD Fab 5' then 'Handbrake' (Google them). Both are free, and 'DVD Fab 5' is more up-to-date than 'DVD Shrink'.0

as someone who used to swear by nero, i can tell you here and now that it is completely unecessary if you're just after simple burning.
deepburner is free (there's a paid version if you want extra features)

it does all the basics you'd likely need - data dvd's/cd's and ISO images as well.
bear in mind that dvd decrypter is technically illegal - i know that lightning uk was hit with a lawsuit over it many years ago. it's still widely available though, and you can also use it in conjunction with dvd shrink to burn iso's as well.0 -

Softpedia is a host to thousands of different programs (Like file hippo and download.com)
