Steam Cleaners

I have adopted a dog and two cats over the last twelve months and my home is feeling more and more grubby. Mopping the floor with an ordinary mop just doesn't seem to be good enough anymore.

Has anybody got a steam cleaner that they use easily and can recommend?

I have looked at the Electolux Z360A which seems to be reasonable at approx £70, has anybody got/used one of these?

I have never used a steam cleaner and would love to know how effective they were before I got sucked into the marketing patter, I will be grateful for any comments.
