thanks
do you think i'd be better off writing?0 -
Don't use the 0844 number, it will cost you a fortune, use; - 01782 677600, and ask for Customer relations.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Send them a letter saying you want them to stop calling you. You have a legal right under the Data Protection Act to have your details removed from their databases, and make sure you refer to this in the letter. That should work but they do it again after that (give them a week or so first) write back or phone and speak to someone senior reminding them of their obligations and tell them that if they do it again you'll report them to the Information Commissioner for breaching the terms of the Act. It's a hassle you could do without but it will work - I successfully managed to get American Express to stop writing to me that way.0

I heard that saying "Please put me on your do not call list" works well. I'm not sure where i heard it, probably on here!0

They would need some of your details to confirm it's really you they're dealing with, but they shouldn't ask for anything they haven't already got. Good luck with the letter.0 -
They have called me over 100 times in the last 3 weeks!
I recommend everyone being plagued by these phone calls to make a complaint to ofcom who recently investigated Phones4u.
Miriam Martin was the case leader for the Phones 4U investigation so its worth copying your compliaint to her.
