Have a Linux system and after a lot of research looks as though the Logitech VX Nano could be the best bet for my notebook but whilst reviews praise this unit it would appear they are using XP - can anyone confirm that this mouse will work with Linux system and without any setting re-arrangement ? Thanks

Basic functionality will work but there's no guarantee to additional buttons or scroll wheels on a mouse.Conor

Linux, quite frankly shouldn't care...XWindows sees it as standard as a rule, and PS/2 or USB work just as well.
There's no such thing as a Linux mouse or a Windows mouse...it's just a mouse. You won't have issues either way with any reasonably recent linux distribution..:)0 -
Here's a guide on how to get all of the buttons working as they would in Windows..0
