sky card

Going to Spain for a couple of weeks and the apartment has`a sky box. We don't have sky at home but a friend used to. Would her old card work in the box in Spain? Thanks for any advice.

The only channels that you would get with the card are Sky3 and the various ch5s. If the card has not been used for a while it may need to be in the box for 24 hours before these channels work. You will get BBC1,2,3+4, ITV1,2,3+4 and Ch4 and lots of others without a card

Each card is regged to each box,but im sure theres a way round it.

Only for the premium Channels, ie. Sky movies and Sky sports
