I placed an order with them 4 years ago (searched my emails to see) as i'd purchased a freeview box off ebay that didn't have a remote...no problems and i'd use them again. The remote sent was a genuine original..not a cheap substitute.

Yep, another thumbs up for them from me too - IIRC I bought a remote for dad's prehistoric TV from them and don't recall any probs. HTH

I placed an order over two weeks ago with AVUK. I've had an order confirmation, but nothing has arrived. I'm getting no reponse to emails, and the phone was not answered today. Anyone know if they are still trading?

Yes I bought a replacement remote for my mothers TV back in December 08. It stopped working last week. I rang them and they replaced it came. in the post the following day. Once she recieved the new one she just sent back the other one. Excellent service considering my mother lives in N.Ireland.

I needed a replacement remote for my J.V.C player and was pleased to see that one was available from this company at a decent price.
I ordered late this late on Friday evening (27th Feb) and the next day was alarmed to read some poor reviews on this site, mainly relating to poor service and delays, and was expecting the worse.
However early on Tues morning (24th) it arrived so I for one am absolutely delighted with the company in every respect and would certainly recommend them.

Don't know about remotes, but their TV brackets are a right royal rip off!

£249 for one which is £30 elsewhere...
