Sky remote control

When we had sky installed, the fitter said we wouldn't need the TV remote as we could turn the telly on & off with the Sky remote. He actually did it while he was here, but for the life of me, I cant do it. Does anyone know which button on the Sky remote it is? The On/Off button only turns on the Sky box. Its only a technicality, but it would mean I can put the TV remote away

Press TV then the on/off button. Pressing tv will make the remote operate the tv functions. You will need to press the sky button to revert it back to controlling the sky box

Of course, all of this will be in the instruction manual
  • tv button then the off button on the remote, or to save money, get up and press the off button on the TV

3 days to tell us???? You must watch a lot of TV if you have to wait 3 days before you test the 'off' switch!!!

Glad to hear you're sorted ;)
