I may be going to look at another property and the estate agent has it advertised for "offers around £60,000". I'm seeing more and more properties listed with prices titled in this way but am unsure how to approach these. I'm in Scotland so usually it is offers over a certain amount and you would say offer 5% more than the offers over, then 10%, 15% etc etc until the seller agreed the price. Is there a similar etiquette for the "offers around" scenario?
As you can probably tell, I haven't really bought and sold many properties so this is all a bit new to me. Any info appreciated.
Scotland is different to the rest of the u.k but normally around here its offers in the region of, in which case id say if a property was on for 150k id offer 130k and work up to my max.
