buying fridge online ?

hi there :D
are there any benefits of buying online if the store itself is 15 mins away? (other than not buying online gets rid of the chocolate consumption over the last few seconds ! .....maybe........)

I wouldn't have thought so. I assume you have already factored in price v service levels etc and they are about the same.

What "extra protection" where you expecting if bought online as opposed to in store? Don't know if the distance selling regulations apply in this case, if you are considering returning the product simply because you dont like it!

I would only buy on-line if it saved me money. I have bought several appliances this way, and the savings can be substantial.

Make sure you buy on a credit card (paying off in full at end of month) to benefit from Section 75 protection in case the retailer goes under.

Have you tried getting a price and phoning local retailers (big and small) to see who can beat your best prices? I imagine they're looking for sales at the moment so I'd make sure you're using that to your advantage.
