Depends what sort of thing you are looking to make but how about...
Bottle wine, couple glasses, box chocs, Lush (or other) bath bomb
Chocolate lovers hamper - fill basket with all different chocs (make sure you include lots of her favourites!!!)
How about planning a day out - doesn't have to be somewhere posh or expensive - maybe a walk followed by a picnic. The hamper gift could include 'clues' to the day you've planned such as a map, flask (for tea/coffee), pack biscuits...
Make your OH a CD of her/your favourite songs.
Night in hamper - bottle wine, bath stuff, chocs, leave the rest up to you to decide...
If she's a reader how about a basket of romantic books (could pick these up 2nd hand at a charity shop/ebay).
Sorry, gone brain dead now, will pop back if think of anything else.
Just thought of another one - list all the things you love about her, cut out so each one is on a seperate slip of paper, fold up and pop them all in a jar or box. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Get yourself over to the boots thread on the grabbit board for some bargains...

Rainmac, thankyou for the various suggestions for valentines day, I am going to steal a couple of them to try and make one big hamper of somekind for OH. I have an idea for another pot of gold but with some kind of adapting to make it something different ... that makes no sense but I know what I mean

How about some heart shaped sky lanterns like these for example:

It's my OH's Birthday on Valentines day so I do try and make it extra special, this year I've booked for us to stay at a travel lodge they currently have an offer on for £9 a night! I know a travel lodge isn't that romantic but I've booked one near a local bay so we can go an enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks. I'm also going to do a little hamper with some champagne and his little tipple whiskey some candles and roses to make the room a little romantic!
I really like the idea of a jar of little notes about what I love about him so I may do that off me and our son!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
