How to remove marks from vertical blinds

I know lots of people hate these things but we have them in the kitchen for the summer as there are two windows and a good garden. To get to the point, I have tried just washing the marks with a soapy cloth to no avail and wondered if anyone knew of a products just meant for the job?

When we had ours fitted the installer recommended the following to clean them - take them all off, roll each one up (not too tight) and secure with an elastic band then put them all in a pillow case and wash on a gentle cycle in the washing machine.
Keep meaning to do ours but haven't got around to it yet so can't advise as to the outcome.0 -

I took mine down rolled them up individually(no elastic band)and put in pillowcase to wash. I steam ironed them before re-hanging.
couple of points: don't forget to remove weights!
If the hem bottom starts to come away simply use a little wundaweb to rejoin .
Replace weights when each strip is completely dry.
Do each blind separately as sizes can differ slightly.
I honestly couldn't believe how well my blinds looked after being washed.
hope this helps

This is good to know as, on one window, there are just three that for some reason have some splash marks - OH of course, I never splash things;)0
