There's probably an easy answer to this question...
We're moving and have a king-size bed. We didn't keep the plastic covering for the mattress. Does anyone know where I can get really strong plastic covering from or any advice on how to move a massive, heavy mattress so it doesn't get dirty.

You could put a couple of fitted sheets over it, One on the top and one on the bottom. At least you can wash them when they get dirty or throw them away if they get ruined.0

Straps underneath it make it easier to carry. You can get a plastic sheet/plastic tarpaulin from B&Q perhaps0

we have moved 4 times in last few years and never felt the need to cover the superking/king mattresses we have had. The van we used has always been semi decent and we just carried it out to van!
The fitted sheet idea is best i would say.Though we never had a mark on our mattresses after moving.And to be honest,is it the end of the world if there is a bit of dirt on it?TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0 -

We're just doing it ourselves. Well hubbie and a puny mate, which is why they think they need to rest a lot btn the flat and van

then i suggest laying said mattress down in van so one can sleep there way to new flat!!!TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0
