Hi Rich & Em
I went to Copplestones on 3 occasions after going to bridal shops to know what I was looking for. I am a size 18 and have had to buy a size 20 dress. I went to his shop knowing that whatever I bought may need to be altered. My dress retails for £1500 and I paid £249. He has approx 200 wedding dresses there to buy. It is a duchess satin strapless gown with a 6ft train and swarovski crystals scattered down the front left and back, it is lovely.
I am having the zip taken out and a lace-up panel put in, this is costing £80. He can recommend a lady for alterations (I live in Manchester so I am not have the lady in liverpool do the alterations) He can also steam the dress for you for free right before your big day! I bought a proper dress storage bag from Ebay for £2.00 too.0 -

We are really unsure about the whole china thing, after a long discussion i actually think that is is off the cards for us, we dont have alot of money as it is and if the order was to go sour we would have even less money than we did in the first place. I would rather spend the time looking around the bridal shops in the UK to find a 'steal' than use a chineese seller.
Brides Ring
The brides ring has now been selected and is going to be purchased from http://www.weddingrings-direct.com for £163.80 and she is really happy with it.
Coulple Of Extra's
Once again ebay came up trumps for us and we managed to get 10 disposable cameras in the colour and design we wanted for £19.99 from a seller on their.
All the links have been added to the first post.

if your still looking for a wedding dress, on some of the threads they have mentioned going to oxfam bridal stores, they have several stores in the uk, i know at least one of the stores are in london, and some are 2nd hand but others are donated new by designers. may be worth giving oxfam a call and see what they say x:o0
