Hi all

had my pcb board replaced in the boiler the other day. In my quest to understand my boiler, i was observing the plumber test various parts of the boiler and he tested, the heating sensor and the water temp sensor, he used a spare that he knew worked.

Can anyone tell me how many other sensors there are in a boiler and what they are ? Are the sensors specific to particular boilers ?

What other parts is he likley to have tested before deducing it was the pcb board ?

He also looked at the pump, and said that was working... how did he know that was working ?
