Don't you just want to "smack them"

Sold an item 14th December, sent invoice, no communication-no payment.

Sent pleasant reminder 21st December(with difficulty-felt like blasting them), no response.

Opened NPB 21st December.... lo and behold they paid today.

I wasn't desperate for the payment, just would have preferred not to have to post items this week so close to Christmas.

What's the betting I get a neg or neutral for slow delivery!

Lets hope they Neg anyway, you send a reminder 21 Dec and then as they haven't had time to respond you NPB them later in the day. How long did you give them , an hour or something ?

NPB'ing someone just cos you got to post close to xmas, jeez some people.

You miss the point Andy2342, as you frequently do!

Ebay has the NPB system in place, it's there to use when a buyer hasn't paid within 7 days, they didn't pay, hence...........

I do realise that you are a little bit of a 'wind up' merchant with far too much time on your hands. Maybe you could use the time constructively and make yourself better informed, or even take a few 'charm classes'

I agree - A rather uncouth, and objectionable young simpleton.

  • Ok, they took 1 day more than they should have to pay, but is it so bad? Hey, at least they paid, and sure it'd have been nice to have them email you to let you know they'd be paying late, or better yet pay earlier, but some people do just get held up doing other things, like... Christmas holdiays? I supose after it happens to you 50 times you get used to it ;)

Not only has the buyer just paid, he will of course be irate if he doesn't receive delivery on or before Christmas Eve.

I sold an expensive (£200) and heavy (15kg) item on eBay last Wednesday night. Buyer paid 7.30am Thursday morning and asked if I could send it quickly because he needed it by this Tuesday to give as a present.

I had it uplifted by TNT at 11.30am on Thursday and it was delivered at 10.35am on Friday morning, 300 miles away.

Buyer gave me a neutral on Saturday morning for slow delivery!!!!
