Kitchen paint

I'm going to get a new kitchen in the Spring. I'm thinking of having a mix of cream and oak units - wall units cream, island units oak (probably from Howdens).
Should I get all oak and have them painted and if so what paint should I use so that I can clean them easily (not gloss)? Or should I order them pre-painted?
I might like to paint them again in the future.
Thanks for any advice

Personally, I would say it would be a shame to paint over oak units, I would buy ready painted units which you can change the colour of later.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
