Hi,
I've just moved house, and I have an extractor fan in kitchen and bathroom, very
handy, only thing is, depending on direction of wind, the flaps flap, the noise doesn't
bother me, just the draught.
I don't want to tape them up, as that defeats the purpose, are there any covers for
the covers, or do I just have to find the right sized ice cream container to slip on and
off as required?

Buy a decent extractor fan. We use these in our bathroom/en suite.

They have powered shutters which open a few seconds after switching on, and close a few seconds after switching off. No draughts since I fitted them.0 -
I had the same problem but got a thing to insert into my plastic 4" pipe you have to cut the pipe in half and insert this thing it has a one way flap so swivels open when extractor extracts and closes when wind tries to get back in i got it from my local plumbers for £6 ish I will have a look to see if i can see online .0

I did too, accept it was the noise that wound me up!
I had a face like these

and swapped it for one like the bottom right but with REALLY tight slats & small gauze holes which stopped draught too.. (almost looks filled up from outside but its not).. got mine from one of the big DIY places.. i forget which one.
