gift ideas for spoilt 14 year olds

I know I'm cutting it fine but I still have a few pressies to get. The most difficult to buy are those for my nephew and neice (twins) who have everything (i-phones, own ponies, designer gear, etc.) Last year I gave them both Amazon vouchers by email but they deleted them and got them resent by post though apparently they didn't arrrive. (Last time I was there at New Year they had such a wad of gift vouchers to spend they wouldn't notice another one each).
So... any ideas that don't cost an arm and a leg?
PS. If you are wondering what sort of presents they send, my sister decided last year that rather than give my brood pressies we would sponsor a rescued horse in the Gambia.

Then I think you just answered your own question..
I'd get them something charitable like a donation to charity or buying something abroad for those less fortunate. Or sponsor an animal (if they still do things like that).
That way, they *may* just appreciate all the lovely things they've already got.

They're not great readers and have surprisingly few books. Actually that's not a bad idea if I can find something they'd actually read - and it could be easy to have sent direct to them too.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

I would definately get them a token Charity gift. If they will not appreciate anything you could get and you must get them someting then you should give to charity in their name. Buy the spoilt children a goat or a toilet.
You can stand there and agonize........

All the more reason to get them a book. You say they have ponies, perhaps get them a book about pony care?pandora205 wrote: »They're not great readers and have surprisingly few books. That's an idea (though the ponies are in livery, so they don't actually do much of the caring!)
A charity gift is a possibility or a book related to their interests (or very teenage).somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
Well maybe it will encourage them to get stuck in, which they should be doing!!Kavanne

Do you really want gift suggestions, or just a discussion on how spoilt the kids are? I find it hard to believe that you would be really anxious about this.
Maybe you should just rephrase the question as to what you can get them that will send a message to their family that you're fed up with their ungrateful brats and unequal gifting.
In which case, I suggest a tangerine and a spinning top each!:rotfl:0 -
Or what about a voucher for a day out....could be anywhere & if you have tesco clubcard vouchers it could work out fairly cheep.0
