centrica is NOT a british company!!!! it is a large multi national utility organisation," BASED" in the UK!! just because it is based here does not make it a BRITISH company !!!

OK, so it is a multinational company based in the UK, from a British Nationalised utility, paying tax to the UK government.
But, it's not French by any means is it?0 -

There are many people on here who work for energy companies but choose not to make it clear...having said that, SJ is by no means the most indoctrinated of them.

Yes I work for Centrica, but surely that doesn't change the fact that when you said it was French you were wrong.
When I pointed out it was British (not English), you then decided it was a multinational and not associated with any country, which would kind of make the original 'British Gas=Centrica=French' argument irrelevant even if it was accurate.
