ESA and work

hello,
i hope someone can advise me as i'm a little lost.
I lost my job a few months back due to health problems and i've since been diagnosed with a slight disability.
The problem is i'm desperate to get back to work, both for financial reasons and my own wellbeing reasons.
I'm still awaiting ESA, but i should get it without a problem. I was told that i'd have to attend work related interviews etc, which is fine.
I've been doing some volunterring work for the past few weeks so i can see what i'm capable of -and not capable of doing:rolleyes: .
I've found a job that i 'think' maybe suitable for me and, as its with a large company i doubt they would attempt to discriminate against me ( i know they aren't supposed to anyway, but i feel that large, well known companies are less likely to).
Now, at last, on to my question. Should i go ahead and apply or should/do i have to, wait until i've had the interview etc.?
If i find i'm wrong, and its all too much for me, can i leave without any problems?
Thank you for any help.

You do not have to wait for your interview before you apply, those on ESA ( and IB) are free to apply for jobs if they want to.0
