Packaging for Gift To Send Overseas

Hi
I need to send a gift box overseas, it will contain lots of small unwrapped gifts but I want to put them in a box and rest the gifts on some type of attractive packaging so that when it is opened, it looks nice even though the gifts aren't individually wrapped (hope you know what I mean).

I was thinking of using some bubble wrap (which I've got) and putting some coloured shredded paper on top to make it look nice but every time I go shopping I forget to get some and I need to get this parcel in the post.

I'm hopeless with anything to do with crafty things and wondered if anyone had any ideas what I could use instead of buying some shredded paper.

Many thanks.

Just be careful that the main box fits the required dimensions.

Royal Mail state that for International Airmail/Surface mail:

Length, width and depth combined must not be greater than - 900mm
The greatest single dimension must not exceed - 600mm.

I had to repack a box of gifts I was sending into 2 smaller ones.

    Crepe paper.

Small scrunched up balls of tissue paper.

    Packing chips

all depends if you are buying or looking to use something you already have at home

Do you not have a shredder of your own? Can always shred things like cheap wrapping paper etc. then.
