council tax and rent during placement ???

Hello everyone.
I am currently in uni, second year, but due to start my placement in February 2009.

Question:
When I do start my paid placement, will I have to pay council tax and rent? Considering I am on a full time undergraduate course which involves this placement, and parents receive benefits.:confused:

I know that I would be exempt if I was living and sharing with other students, but how about my parents who receive benefits?

Thank You!!

    This is a quote from Sussex Council's website

    Students on a placement or students who have temporarily suspended their studies are still defined as students for Council Tax purposes so, as long as you provide your exemption certificate, you will not be liable;

    so it looks as if you're OK.

    Thank You I have found more or less the same info, but just wanted to know if I lived with my parents, because everywhere it stated if lived with other students or adults.
    Thank You again.
