Nationwide - easier to get Credit Card or Debit Card?

in Credit cards
Hi there,
I think I read before in MSE forums about Nationwide Credit Card being easier to get than the Debit Card, is that true?
I already have a Cashcard with Nationwide - now for convenience I just wanted to either have a Debit Card or Credit Card with them - easier for me to make foreign purchases an so on. (I settle credit cards in full anyway, so not worried about interest etc.)
Which one do you think I should go for?
Thanks!

I tried for 18 months to get a debit card with Nationwide, 3 times I was told to go back in 6 months, was never told a reason. Went to Natwest instead, they gave me a Solo card instantly, and in less than a month I got a Maestro card.0

I wouldn't take it personally, banks seem to be so inconstant with who they do and don't approve atm.0 -

Refused the Credit Card
999 credit rating with Experian, no bad credit. Own my house.
Neither is easier to get approved for over the other, that's a fact.0 -
