Help please

Hi all,

I've just received a message on ebay about one of the items I'm selling, the message reads - Q: If these radios do not sell on your auction, I will contact you with my offer. I will collect radios from you.

I can't understand why he doesn't just bid, any ideas on how I should respond? The item's up for £50 and I'm selling them on behalf of my parents who don't want to sell them for less so any offer he makes which is under £50 will be rejected anyway!

Thanks in advance for any help!
Kate

Does the person have much feedback and see what the buy previous. I would just tell them if they are interested in the item to bid for them or you could get a price that you would accept and email him and say for example you will sell them for £80 if he wants them. He probably just wants them for cheap

    Thank you for your reply!

He has feedback of 32 positive 1 negative!

I can only access one item that he's bought and that was a xbox live headset in October!

I think I will do as you say but if he's not willing to go through ebay then I shall ask for payment in cash when he collects instead of paypal!

ebay and paypal are a pain in the @!!!!!! as I sold a PSP for £250 and ebay charged me £9 for selling it and as ebay own paypal it would have been about another £9 so I got the buyer to bring the cash when he picked it up (check for counterfit money)

Only cos' ebay dont get their cut. Kate, if you set out and agree a price (using email or phone) then when they collect, arrange not to be 'home alone' and all should be well :)

Thanks highlighter! I know a few people who have sold outside ebay and the only downside was not receiving the feedback!!
