Barclaycard free credit days

I was one of the B/C customers who was moved over from MorganStanley on the takeover, shortly after they reduced my payment date by 12 days ( because I paid off the balance I thought). I wasn't too bothered although I could have missed the payment date if I had not noticed.
Strangely they have now put the payment date back to where it was in the first place, I am not used to this generosity, has anyone noticed the same and know why they have done it? I am not complaining by the way although I would prefer it if it remained fairly static.

Hi there, the difference is that barclaycard have a "floating payment date system" which means you may see a variation of about 4-5 days; as compared with the "fixed system" morgan stanley used..
also i believe they don't issue statements on weekend days or something like that... morgan stanley did this and again that might result in a slight change.
The wide variation in your first statement may just be an adjustment after the switchover.
thanks

Actually they moved my payment date from the 12th of the month to the end of the previous and this lasted for one year, It has just changed back this month.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
