Horstmann DTR2 Thermostat programmer

Hi there
Ive recently moved into a house with a horstmann thermostat programmer dtr2 fitted. It is so small and hard to see and its only a 5 and 2 day programmer and i need a programmer that is a 7 day type.
Its hard wired to the boiler but only to signal on and off times as it is powered by 2 batteries. I have been looking for a new programmer and have seen the Drayton Digistat +3 that looks just what i need.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this item and is it straight swap for the old Horstmann. It seems to have the same battery power and wiring.
Any help would be most welcome
Thanks

  • Yes, direct replacement. Needs two wires to be connected Live and Switched Live (Note these carry 240v so isolate boiler before replacement). Sounds like it has similar features to the Honeywell CM907/927 I use.
