I got a "battery Fail" message on my prepayment meter last night. It took about 5 minutes to speak to a (UK) operator when I phoned at 11 am today. She promised an engineer within 4 hours - and he arrived an hour later, friendly and knew what he was doing, fixed the problem and left!

It's nice to see someone saying something positive on this forum for a change. Anyone off supply should be seen to within 4 hours of making the call to their supplier, sometimes this is impossible due to the distances the meter worker has to travel....and ferry trips if you have jobs in Orkney!0
