Any longer term peeps in receipt of just benefits to live on, have any tips on making money stretch further at Chrimbo? Can you still do a Christmas spread, and not just give everyone a bowl of gruel when they sit down?
How do you budget for pressies? How do you tell your children Santa must have had a hole in his sack this year? (When the expected Nintendo DS doesn't show up).
Please tell me how you all cope. Ta - Have a Merry Christmas - Rgds Bernie

Hi Bernie,
You might be better to look at the Old Style board, this board is more for benefit entitlements xGone ... or have I?0 -
Don't buy pressies for adults. Don't buy tat for the kids - just buy one or two decent things. Ask family to chip in for something expensive, such as a games console.0
